Educational Qualification
To apply for these posts, the qualification required is given below:
Candidates who want to apply for the BSF Head Constable posts must meet the educational qualification criteria set by the BSF board. Applicants must have passed 12th class from a recognized institute with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as main subjects. To be eligible, they must also have scored at least 60% marks in PCM. In addition, candidates who have passed the 10th class with a 2-year ITI certificate in trades such as Radio, Television, Electronics, COPA, or Data Entry Operator are also eligible to apply for these posts.

Selection Process
The selection process involves three phases:
- PST: Height and chest measurements (for men).
- Men: Height – 168 cm, Chest – 80-85 cm
- Women: Height – 157 cm
PET: Physical activities like running, long jump, and high jump.
- Men have to run a 1.6 km race in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Women: 800 m race in 4 minutes.

3. Document Verification and Medical Examination
